After more than 25 years at the same address, our Canadian office decided it was time to follow the lead of our Hong Kong and Antwerp offices by relocating to more modern premises. Still located in the city of Pointe-Claire on the Island of Montreal, the new office space is a definite step up and ‘move’ in the right direction.
The relocation project commenced in February earlier this year with support from our Hong Kong head office. A local agency was hired to create a fresh new design based on Anglo-Eastern’s office style guidelines, and we have to say they did an incredible job. Not only was the project completed on time, despite local labour and material shortages, the office interior looks fantastic!
Our Montreal office joins Hong Kong, London, Antwerp, and more recently, our Anglo-Eastern Maritime Training Centre in Mumbai (also showcased in this issue on pp. 6-7) as the latest Anglo-Eastern location to feature our new interior design standards.
With the new office space ready to welcome employees on Halloween (October 31st), it is safe to say they were certainly in for a treat when they arrived in the morning!
Congratulations to general manager Remy Boulianne and his team on the new Montreal office, which serves two main functions: supporting the Fednav fleet, including the management of two Fednav Polar Class vessels, and supporting all other Anglo-Eastern managed ships calling on Canadian ports, in particular the St Lawrence Seaway ports of Montreal, Sorel, Becancour and Quebec.
The next time any one of our ships, employees, or business partners is in the area, the team welcomes you to pay them a visit at their new address!
